December Challenge Tic-Tac-Toe- at Laurs's Loft

December Challenge "Tic-Tac-Toe" at Lauras' loft

Welcome to my very first challenge at Laura's Loft. The challenge was
  • Tic tac toe board. I was to pick three in a row and use them on a card. Wow this was harder then I thought and I was so happy to have just recieved my order from the November hop at Laura's shop.  So I used the new stamp set  Altenew Bejeweld. Using the butterfly dies I cut them out using Vellum clear, then stamped them using versamark . I embossed them with white embossing powder and the bow with WOW embossing powder HO,HO,HO, I also got at Laura's shop. The stencil I used was from Hedi swap and added a white color from CTMH. I picked out some white sequins , Lauren's Bouquet , from Laura's shop. The words are also on the stamp set Altenew Bejeweld. I really love this card and plan on using this stamp set and dies on so many products.

  • I will have to say this is my very first shaker card. It took some time but I did it! I used a 6 1/2 x 5 red card. Embossed using the confetti folder from CTMH. Cut out the middle and used the fuse tool. Inside the window I added O Tannenbaum sequins both coming from Laura's shop.
  • Such a bright and festive mix. For the wagon and presents it is from the stamp set Newtons Nook " Wagon of Wishes" this is such a fun stamp set and works for many occasions and seasons. To color the wagon I used some copic markers, then I cut the wagon out and glued it to the white embossed paper.
  • For the embossed bell in the back of the window came from a embossing bell folder from Anna Griffin.
  • I then used the Virginia Turtle Enamel Dots Royalty to give it a more festive shine .

Christmas card "Wishing you Peace on earth"

Hello crafters, I am so honored to be featured on the DT of Laurs's Loft at for my Christmas card.
I had so much fun making this Christmas card.
I used the stamp set called Newton's Nook, Holiday Wishes. I have used this
same stamp set to make many cards different ways.
    Check out Laura's new store at This is a 6 1/2  x 5 card. I then cut a 6 x 4 3/4 white card stock and on the embossing
folder on put on red ink from ctmh, and embossed it. I then took Wink of Stella Brush
and added it to a few places to add some shine.
On top of that I took another 4 x 3 white cardstock and stamped the ornaments with black
ctmh ink. I then colored them in using Bic markers. I then added liquid glass on them to
bring out a shinny look to them. For the words they are also on the stamp set Hoilday wishes,
I stamped them in black and red ink. They turned out so nice and clear.
To finish it off I tied a bow of gold ribbon on top.
I hope you like my Christmas card. I am pretty new at this, but this stamp set
is so much fun to use in so many ways. Also this stamp set has words in it that
I plan on using all threw the year. Thanks for stopping and looking.

    Fall flowers card

I really stepped outside of my comfront zone to try and use my stamp set from
CTMH called Paper Garden, I used a 7 x 5 kraft card, and on top
    of that I used a 6 1/2 x 5 1/2 white card stock. The colors I used
to stamp where also from CTMH, Honey, Autumn Terracotta, Pear,
I had so much fun stamping and really like it. I cut a tag from my
Cricut explore, and then stamped the words on it. Any words
would go with this card I think. Hope you enjoy it as much as
     I had fun making it.

Here is another card made with the Live, Laugh, Love, Art Impression clear stamp set. I used a 5 1/2 x 7 kraft premade card paper, with a white card paper cut out and used  a corner punch to punch the corners out. I also used a pale pick to distress the edges and corners. I stamped the picture with black ink. Then used assorted markers to color it in. The embossing poweder Wow was used  for the words live, laugh, love, on a tag. I really enjoy  these stamps sets , they bring a little laughter on the cards and for the lucky person who will get them.

Live, Laugh Love Art Impressions, clear stamps

This is a new fun stamp set, I stamped it with black ink, then used different markers Close to my heart and Coptic markers, I am pretty new at this so I am learning what works the best. I am happy with both kinds.  I used a soft pink color for distressing the edges and tags. The inside I used a new embossing folder called confetti from CTMH , I really like it, I also used Tim Holtz mini ink blending tool. I used the soft pink ink again. The tags I made with my cricut explore. I can't wait to give this card to one of my friends.

I am new at this but here it goes.

Intro for me , I am a 54 a farm wife, and have been married for 34 years, and have six kids, and my youngest is a senior. I also have 4 grandkids, with another on the way. My family is the reason I live every day. I have worked outside the home with many jobs. but getting hurt and getting sick has grounded me and made me soul search of what I love to do and can do. I had done crafts of all kinds before I had kids, And have found my love for them again, yes lots of things have changed. I am truly excited every morning when I get up to see what I can do today. So bare with me and my learning how to blog. And my journey of my new life.
