My new baby Granddaughter Adalyn

I love making special cards, and I knew we where having a granddaughter.  For this card I embossed hearts on a card then used Distress ink, Picked raspberry, I just love this color. Then I tool vellum and that softened the look, vellum is so versital in being used so many ways. I then used a die cut heart and little hearts, with a few baby embellishments from some mixed hints I had, that I found on clearance a while back.  I am away from home helping my daughter and my other two year old grandaughter Kinsley so I don't remember for sure the name of the die cuts. But to guess it would be Siomon Said.
Here she is๐Ÿ’ž perfect and blessed. Gods blessing to you all.

Load of Thanks

Load Of Thanks

Debbie here again, and excited to be back here to make another card for Laura's Loft.

This stamp set Newton's Nook "Wagon of  Wishes"is one of my favorite.
I have used it for many cards and  seasons already!
I stamped it with black ink on a heavy white paper.
I used many different copic markers for  coloring the wagon and flowers.
The tags I used my circut explore to cut many out at a time. Stamped the words from the same stamp set with black ink. Then I  placed them on top of each other and spread them out and stapled them together and then added  Virginia Turtle Enamel Dots "Autumn"
I added this to the card stock and then under the wagon I added the raised line with a score board.
Added some pretty paper to match the tags on top, and punched the design in it.
This card was pretty fast to do. Seems I am always needing thank you cards to give.
"Thanks" for stopping by.

Be Yourself beautiful bold loving unique

Being new at this I did watch, You Tube for some help. With so many videos out there, I sure found out how and tried it.
First of all I used the water color paper from CTMH. I cut it to 3 3/4 x 4 1/8. I then stamped it with versa mark with the stamp set Altenew "Thoughts and Reminders", using the embossing powder Wow "Metallic Copper" to finish the words. Look at that shine, love this embossing powder.
Then I masked taped it to my craft mat to hold it still and try to make it not crinkle as much.
I added quit a bit of water on it to make it really wet so the colors would run.
For my colors I used distress inks, Fried Brick, Mustard seed, Seedless Preserves, and Salty ocean.
I simply put some color on a stamp block, and added water to it, and with a paintbrush added the color to the wet paper and let the water do its work. I did the same for all these colors. I then took a paper towel and picked up excess water and softly dabbed it over all the colors so that's how you see some different colors in some of them. Then took my heat gun to dry it all the way. I also applied some Tatter Angels glimmer mist, to give it all a nice shine.  Easy yes and fun.
I applied this to a 4 1/2 x 5 3/4 black card stock. On the bottom of the card I added some twine simply wrapped around it three times.
There you go, my challenge is done and what fun I had.
Don't forget to check out each different blog below to see what they all created.

Hello

Hello and welcome to another product I got at Laura's store. The We Are Memory Keepers "Heat Wave Tool" I used it to make the word hello. I did use the stencils that is for the heat wave tool.  It did work really easy and with more practice I will be much better at it. The uses for it will be endless.
I used the stamp set Newtons Nook, "Day Dream" and painted it using distress inks " Frayed Burlap". The grass, "mowed lawn", and "pine needles",using distress pads blending the colors, and for the sky distress color "Chipped sapphire", and "peacock feather"s.
Just a quick simple card for when someone needs a card to know I am there for them. Thanks for stopping by.

"Be yourself beautiful bold Loving unique"

Hello again and I am so happy to here showing you a card I made for Laura's Inspirational Compadres DT. It is always fun making a new card of trying a new way of doing one. This card I used vellum and embossed it first with the saying from the stamp set Altenew "Thoughts and Reminders" But since I didn't have black embossing ink , I first embossed the words with versemark, I then dipped it in black ink to give it some color.  Then for the flowers I used the stamp set from Altenew " Vintage Flowers" stamped in embossing ink, and then embossed with white embossing powder. I  then painted it in with Picked raspberry distress ink.with just a small paint brush. For the first time I tried this it was really easy and fun  To match that I took and cut out a heart shape, and painted the frame  with the same distress ink on watercolor paper. Then glued it all on a 7 x 5 craft card. I really love how it all turned out and can't wait to make something else doing this.
Thanks for stopping by, and taking a peak of my new card, and don't forget to stop and check out Laura's store, she is always adding new things.

"Fly By"

Coming up with a idea was when I got this new stamp set
Avery Elle "Fly By"
I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it.
I love this stamp set because my dad is a small plane pilot since I was a little girl.
So I made this card for him.
The first thing I did was cut a double stitched rectangle using:
It measures about 5 1/2 x 4. This die set has 5 pieces in it, and I have used it alot already.
The challenge is resist and what I did was masking. I had never done this before but I gave it a try.
The first thing I did was stamp with Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink, on the white card stock and on some masking paper. I then cut out the stamped objects
and layed them on top of the stamped objects on the card stock.
I took Tim Holtz Salty Oceans, distress ink and applied it with the mini ink blending tool, on the white card around the masked objects. Then I took off the masking tape and my stamped objects below it where perfect!
I was so excited that it worked. Then I colored in with a copic # R27 the words Love you.
For the clouds I embossed them with WOW "Sparkling Snow" embossing powder, it sure gave them a real sparkling look.

So not to think I could take it to easy, I did some searching on something else I could do.  I found a resist painting by using wax paper with a embossing folder, and adding distress ink on top of it. So that's what I did, and it did work really well.

Tis the season for Love! So I wanted to make a card for a guy and as you know that's pretty hard sometimes.
I got a idea off of Pinterest, looking at different pictures and ideas of how to do it.
I embossed a piece of wax paper, then mad a sandwich of scrap paper, card stock, wax paper, card stock, scrap paper. Then took a hot iron, with no steam and pressed it for about three times. Then peeled it away and you could see a faint print on it.
Then used Tim Holtz mini distress inks : Peacocks Feathers, Mustard Seed & Fired Brick. To apply them I used the mini tool plus the mini pads, and then had fun adding it to the wax design left on the paper. I just kept going back and forth with the colors until I was happy with it. Then I sprayed Tattered angel glimmer shine, on top of it to give it a little more shine.
For the butter fly, Altenew Bejeweled Stamp set, and the matching die set Altenew Bejewled die set.
Then embossed it with WOW copper embossing powder.
The saying on the card also embossed with copper embossing powder.
The words where from the stamp set The Greeting Farm "Flutter Heart"
The words Love Ya is from Cas-ual Fridays Die  "Love Ya"
and used gold glitter paper for the words.
I ended up really having fun making this card, and can't wait to do it again.

"Love Ya" for stopping by!!!!

Don't forget to stop by the other great designers for the challenge.

I was also so excited to get my first stiched die set and as you can see it looks great.
I did add a little black marker ink to make some of the stiched dies stand out.

Happy New Year,,Happy Mail Card

                         Happy New Year
As I welcome a new year, and have a little time before my next christmas party. I got some happy mail, and any happy mail for me is crafting things. My happy mail was The Stamps of life, stamp set and dies! Yes I am addicited to stamps and dies, because you can do so much more  things with them. So as I start my new year with a new card, its fitting it should say
Happy Mail!

This card was so easy and fun to do...It is a 5 1/2 x 4 inch white card. On the background I used Tim Holtz distress ink, salty ocean, and mowed lawn, and applied it with the mini distress tool.
I wanted it to more stand out more and that is why I love using dies, and so cut out the mail box, bird, envelopes, and grass.
I then used Prismacolor colored pencils, black and darkbrown, to color the post in the mail box, and red for the big heart.
The envelopes I wanted to make them look like they fell out of the mail box, and cut four of them out with the die, and stamped them with the stamp with black ink. I wanted to make them look kinda spring, because here in Nebraska we have had lots of snow and cold. So I colored them with copic markers, bo1,bo4,r27,rv63.
The words rv63, and the bird with y15.
The grass I stamped with distress ink, pineneedles, peeled paint. I made some of them to stand out by cutting them with the die cut and coloring them in.

So glad you stopped by and I hope you are getting some happy mail!!
